About Our Team
Harvi Takhar Podiatrist
My name is Harvi Takhar I have been a Podiatrist for 24 years I qualified from the Birmingham school of podiatry. Working in Central clinic we provide all aspects of foot care and specialist treatments, we are able to treat fungal nail, annoying verruca's, help with tendon problems and gait analysis to relieve biomechanics problems, using all this latest technology keeps us up to date and our work interesting.
As a podiatrist I over the years have had may foot problems including flat feet which is a debilitating problem I wear custom Phits orthotics which we prescribe and it has recently been life changing as I am able to run comfortably on the treadmill, I can sympathise with my patient when they present to the clinic with biomechanics issues.
In my free time I enjoy the gym and reading, I love travel and hope to see most of the world before I'm 80!.
Hi! My names Hannah. I studied Podiatric Medicine at the Birmingham School of Podiatry, and graduated with a first class degree! I initially worked as a locum for a short amount of time and undertook some volunteered work after. I then took a huge leap and moved away from home for the first time where I worked with a highly reputable private clinic in London, in branches based in Central and South. Here is where I learned most of the valuable and specialised experience that I carry forward today, making me what I would describe as an all-rounder podiatrist,
The word ‘can’t’ or ‘won’t’ doesn’t exist in our vocabulary because we aim to do whatever we can to help you, and if we physically cannot do anymore for you, we will always point you in the right direction to make sure you are cared for.
I personally love being able to carry out most of the treatments that we offer at Central Clinics, but if I had to choose a treatment I particularly enjoy doing, it would have to be our Swift Microwave Therapy or Nail Surgery. Patients usually come to us for these treatments when they’ve exhausted all other options, so when we offer them and they see the results it’s always an incredibly gratifying moment.
I have had an interest in feet ever since I was a child, as I was born with a foot condition. Regular visits to podiatrists and orthopaedic consultants exposed me to the medical world and this made me determined to become a foot specialist myself, so when the time came to pick a career, I already knew what I wanted to do. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Brighton with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry. Since then, I have worked in private practice in multiple locations across Oxfordshire and, since 2017, the West Midlands. I have a particular interest in nail surgery and biomechanics, but
I am passionate about learning and I strive to improve my skill set in order to be able to provide the highest possible standard of treatment to my patients. I love my job as I enjoy helping people. No two feet are the same so there is no such thing as a boring day!
I'm Debra, the newest member of the team. I grew
up in Yorkshire and then moved to the Midlands to
study Social Work. Although I enjoyed aspects of
this job, I have always had a passion for
administrative work. I've gained a lot of experience
throughout the years and admire myself to be
extremely professional with a truly caring nature. I
strive each day to deliver the best customer
service I can and look forward to welcoming you to
